 | Beautifully dreamy! galing sir! =) |
 | If you were here in Western New York last week, this is what it looks like after the first half hour or so of the snow storm (that is before the trees and branches started breaking due to weight of the snow) - was beautiful, but turned out to be devastating. |
 | lupet.. how much is that lens? |
 | wow... superb! parang nasa Narnia... Dave anong filter gamit diyan??? please teach me naman. thanks :D |
 | nasabi na lahat nila kuya! i cant wait to see your IR potipot pics! goodluck ha.
ano kaya effect ng IR sa portraiture? nakakatakot siguro... :-) |
 | everything comes well together here. the composition and the effect. amazing image! |
 | san po 'to kuya dave? this looks wonderful. nice, na-emphasize yung sakuras because of the infrared. :) are those real cherry blossoms? |
 | parang mala-Tim Burton feel 'tong pic na 'to, eerie but mystical. |
| san po 'to kuya dave? this looks wonderful. nice, na-emphasize yung sakuras because of the infrared. :) are those real cherry blossoms? they are not cherry blossoms norms. green foliage yan. but if you use IR filters, greens turn out whites. thats why you can get snow effects or in this case, cherry blossoms in bloom! |
| wow... superb! parang nasa Narnia... Dave anong filter gamit diyan??? please teach me naman. thanks :D this was taken around 11 am using a Hoya R72 Infrared filter. When you screw-in your IR filter to your lens, you CANNOT see anything from the viewfinder (as in black-out!). So you have to do the focusing manually even before you mount your filter. This is the link to the IR tutorial. Hope it helps. http://www.pbase.com/dlarson2/ir_work_flow |
| lupet.. how much is that lens? in this set, i used a nikon 70-200mm VR lens and a Nikon 17-35mm. Both have a 77mm filter size.
(Hoya R72 IR Filters 77mm US$283.50, 52mm US$40.50) |
 | galeng, san s QC yan kuya dave? |
 | DQ ba infrared shots sa DPC? |
| DQ ba infrared shots sa DPC? accepted. be careful lang not to break editing rules. filters and in-camera manipulations are allowed. |

| nasabi na lahat nila kuya! i cant wait to see your IR potipot pics! goodluck ha.
ano kaya effect ng IR sa portraiture? nakakatakot siguro... :-) may nakita ako Jay na wedding portraiture, IR. ang galing. If you have a dedicated IR camera, yung converted, its easier to shoot moving subjects. pag filter lang, you have to play with very slow shutter speed. llike this one, parang 1sec at F4. |
 | Grabe kuys! Ang galing ha!!! Professional na professional dating! Sana I have a bit of that artistic blood in me! hehehe! :) |
